Adobe provided an update letting users know that it's working on the problem, but that there is no fix yet.

Thanks for the :dance2: :dance2: update.
Unfortunately, the link for the IE version still gives the previous version (11.3.300.257).

Can someone fix it, please?

This update is a crash bug fix for Firefox, so there is no update for the IE version which remains as 11.3.300.257. ^_^

There’s too much debris, and litter information.
This update is only for Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera and Other plugin-based browser. Opera does not even need to update and IE is still the same version 11.3.300.257
The problem was between Firefox 13.0 and Adobe Flash Player. Now, both are updated, we can see was it successful .
The current versions of:
Platform Browser Player version
Windows Internet Explorer (and other browsers that support Internet Explorer ActiveX controls and plug-ins) 11.3.300.257
Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Opera (and other plugin-based browsers) 11.3.300.262
Chrome 11.3.300.257
Macintosh – OS X Firefox, Opera, Safari 11.3.300.257
Chrome 11.3.300.257
Linux Mozilla, Firefox, SeaMonkey 11.2.202.236
Chrome 11.2.202.236
Solaris Mozilla 11.2.202.223

Basically, it's a mess. :s
Yeah, it's a mess. :nuke:
Thanks nanana1 and HJSC for clearing it up for us!

Thanks for the update anuraag!
Those who have problems, have you updated Firefox to 13.0.1? That's what solved the crashes for me :)
It's surprising that none of the folks who reported flash issues with the previous release have come forward to testify whether this latest release resolves that issue or not.

Some people say they still have problems with the latest release. I can't confirm, since I've been trouble-free ever since I updated Firefox
Thanks!

No problems with this v11.3 on SeaMonkey! Even the previous version worked well.

Same here, absolutely trouble-free on V14 (x32-bit) and V16 (x64-bit) :)
did you turn off protected mode??

Do you use Sandboxie?.

Nope, not at all, have also disabled the Sandbox component from my COMODO. :)

did you turn off protected mode??

Sorry, I just missed your post completely. If that question was for me - no, I left everything, at default (did not turn off protected mode.) Maybe I was lucky. :dunno: ;)

Oh great, then I can upgrade my Firefox :D

If anyone's interested, I run Flash with protected mode enabled (Firefox 13.0.1, Flash Player plugin 11.3.300.262). I don't use Sandboxie, but I have sandbox in my Kaspersky Internet Security. Flash works as it should and doesn't interfere with KIS's sandbox mode
Sorry for the late reply. Nevertheless. See this. :)

Thanks for the comprehensive info, that ought to clear everything up :)

On a side note, maybe Adobe is not the only one at fault here, since I remember the crashes only occurred with certain sites/ apps/ Flash content :s
